British Pattern 44 Water Filter

Made for British forces in the Far East during WW2, these water filtration bags were designed to remove particles such as twigs,stones,dead insects etc leaving water ready for boiling/purification.These bags are ex-NZ Army used but still serviceable.Made from tightly woven cotton canvas they feature an eyelet to hang by and a printed instruction tag.
