Army Veterinary Corps Badge

First formed in 1796, the Army Veterinary Corps were tasked with the care and welfare of all animals in service with the British Army. This badge dates from WW1 after which they were given the “Royal” suffix and a new badge was issued. Featuring a slider backing, this bi-metal badge is in very good condition.
