After over 100 years of black boots the British Army has now switched to a range of five different types of brown leather boot.These particular boots are known as the “Patrol” boot designed for “mounted troops, typically drivers or armoured troops conducting lower levels of activity in temperate climates”.They feature a full leather upper,an oil and slip resistant sole, Thinsulate lining and eyelets and D-rings for quick lacing.Lightweight like sneakers but sturdy like a boot they would make an excellent hiking boot.They are available in UK sizes 7-13.
