Brown Kirza Mosin Nagant Pouch POU28

These type of pouches were made for carrying six 5-round clips of bullets for the Russian Mosin Nagant bolt action rifle and they are made in brown “Kirza” material with leather trim and straps. Kirza was a type of hardwearing waterproof rubberised vinyl popular in Cold War Russian equipment. These particular pouches are the standard brown issued to all Soviet military personnel armed with a Mosin rifle. Most of the date stamps are illegible but they date from the late sixties/early seventies and we are reliably informed that they came from Ukrainian military stores not Russian!
