Bulgarian Army Brown Wool Tunic JKT29

These ex-Bulgarian Army 100% wool tunics are a beautiful example of eastern bloc military tailoring. Even though they look reminiscent of WW1 they were being worn up to the late eighties.The jackets feature four front pockets and one inside the left chest.The front closes with six plastic “star” buttons and the neck closes with a hook and eye.The waist is elasticated for a smart fit and there are two metal belt hooks at the rear.Originally these were designed for the eastern European physique which was generally shorter than our modern kiwi build but we have done our best to estimate the approximate sizes of these jackets allowing for a comfortable fit with layers on underneath.The sizes are chest in cm’s, long lengths are approximately an extra 10cm in sleeve and body :

–  3B – 92cm chest – regular length

–  2B – 88cm chest – regular length

– 2A – 88cm chest – long length
