Chinese Air Force TK-1 High Altitude Flying Helmet

Here we have a Chinese Air Force, or PLAAF (Peoples Liberation Army Air Force) TK-1 high altitude flying helmet dated 1987. These Cold War era helmets were a Chinese made copy of the Soviet Russian GSH-4 helmet and would have been used in Chinese reverse engineered versions of Russian Mig Aircraft. The helmet consists of a metal shell with built in zip hood and flip up sun shade, the front visor then clips on to the front. Attached are various tubes for oxygen comm’s etc. The sun shade has some slight cracking but overall the helmet is in very good condition.
