M1 Garand Rifle 1105

This is the Denix non-firing die-cast imitation model of the M1 Garand Rifle or as it was known in the U.S. military “U.S. Rifle,Caliber .30, M1”.Designed by Canadian/American John Garand, it replaced the M1903 Springfield in 1936 and was the main U.S. service rifle until being replaced in 1958 by the M14. General George S Patton called it “the greatest battle implement ever devised”.This model captures the weighty feel of the original and has a moving bolt which can be slid back to cock the trigger.
