Here’s one for the camouflage collectors.This M70 brushstroke pattern camouflage uniform was used by the Malaysian Army from the early 1970’s to the mid 90’s.It consists of a cotton drill pair of BDU style trousers which have the usual two slash pockets,two hip and pleated leg pockets and button fly and belt loops.The knees are double layer reinforced and there are tabs on the waist perhaps for tightening.It has a manufacturer’s label stating “SB” “saiz” 4 (88cm/35″).The jacket is made from “Aertex” style fabric and features four external pockets,epaulettes,reinforced elbows and shoulders and a draw cord waist.There are two faint stampings and a small label marked “L”.
