NZDPM “Squires” Patrol Pack

These packs were part of a small run made for the NZ Army by “Squires Manufacturing” of Taihape in the early 2000’s when it was realised there was a need for a smaller “patrol/day pack” rather than using the full sized ALICE pack. With a total capacity of (by our calculations) roughly 40 litres, it consists of a main compartment with drawcord throat and securing strap. Attached to this are three smaller buckled pockets with drain holes and a zip pocket in the top flap. The adjustable shoulder straps have a detachable chest strap, and side-release buckles for quick removal and there is a 38mm wide waist strap. The pack for sale is not the one pictured but is in identical condition.
