Soviet Army Gymnastyorka

This is a Soviet Army Gymnastyorka tunic made for an Artillery Lieutenant Colonel.We obtained it from a collector who originally bought it in Berlin just after the wall came down.To the best of our knowledge we believe it originally was a private purchase item possibly made by an local East German tailor as there are no size labels etc.The style of the tunic is a timeless one having been in Soviet Army service for decades, but we think this garment was made in the 1960’s.Overall it is in very good condition with only a few minor scuffs and scratches to the fabric and all the metal buttons are present.If you have any further queries please feel free to email us.
