US M9A1 Gas Mask

Developed in the late 1940’s, the US M9 was used through Korea up to the Vietnam era where although it was replaced with the M17 model, it continued on with the Police and National Guard until the 70’s and some EOD units until the 90’s. The M9A1 upgrade was introduced in 1951, merely being an improved haversack. This mask is in excellent unissued condition, the elastic is still fresh and it comes with the original packing tin, M9A1 haversack, Mask (date ’58), filter & cover (dated 6-24-53) and anti dimming cloth.
