NZ MCU Shirt

In 2013 the NZ Army, in an attempt to show individual national identity changed their camouflage pattern from the New Zealand variant of British DPM (disruptive pattern material) to the Canadian designed MCU (multi-terrain camouflage uniform). The hows and whys of this move are anyones guess, suffice to say the pattern did not last long and was replaced in 2019 with a NZ variant of MTP. There are several variant of MCU and these shirts are the cotton drill variety with no elbow pads. The design continues on from the ripstop DPM shirt with the addition of upper arm pockets on each sleeve. The vertical zip pockets have been moved to each armpit, the rank slide tab has been replaced with a hook&loop patch and the buttons are now the Soldier95 style attached with web tape rather than sewn. The shirts are used but are in very good condition and are available in S,M, and L sizes.
