These sturdy ex-German Army metal hand lanterns are brand new still in the box and are made by Varta,who are renowned for their high quality lamps,bulbs and batteries.By using the the on/off lever you can switch between a directional torch beam at the front,which also has a detachable red filter or a wide lamp beam at the rear.The lamp can rotate 360 degrees on its stand allowing for multiple positioning and it comes with two spare bulbs.The lamp is powered by one 6v lantern battery and these batteries and extra bulbs are readily available from hardware and electrical shops.The lamp also comes with an instruction sheet in German! Note – battery not included.
